Questions and answers

Direct answers to what people ask most: whether this is safe, how much you can earn and how to use the service.

Trust and safety

Who actually runs the studies and pays the money?

We are a directory, not a research provider. We do not run studies, we do not make payouts, and we never ask for payment details.

Applying, taking part and getting paid all happen on the original platform, under its rules and on its timeline.

Is this a scam?

We take no money from you for taking part in studies, and we never ask for payment details, passwords or copies of documents.

You apply on the platform’s own site, the one you could reach without us. That platform pays you, under its own rules. Our job is to gather opportunities in one place and explain the conditions in plain language.

Who pays, and when?

The platform or the research company running the study pays you. We do not transfer money and we are not an intermediary in the payment.

Timing varies from a few days to a few weeks after completion. Always check the exact terms on the platform’s own page for that study: the platform is responsible for them.

What do you do with my data?

The profile exists only to filter out studies you clearly do not qualify for. It is stored in your browser and is not passed to the platforms.

We do not sell data, we do not show third-party advertising and we do not send mailings without your consent.

How do you vet the opportunities?

We check that the link is alive and points at the platform rather than a third-party form, that the platform is known to us, and that the conditions come from the original source.

Closed studies are removed from the catalog. Where a condition is unknown to us, we write “unknown” instead of inventing it.

Money

How much can you realistically earn?

This is side income, not a salary. A single study usually pays from a few dozen to a few hundred dollars depending on format and length.

How many studies fit you depends on your country, languages, profession and devices. Promising a monthly figure would be a lie: we control neither the number of studies nor the selection.

Is it free?

The catalog and opportunity list are open without an account or payment.

Details of a specific study are available during a 7-day trial and then with a monthly subscription at the price shown on the access page. Payments and card linking are not connected yet.

Why do some opportunities have no payout listed?

Because the platform did not publish it in a structured form. We show “payout unknown” instead of substituting an approximate figure.

It is inconvenient but honest: seeing “up to $200” and receiving twenty is worse than seeing nothing.

Using the service

Why fill in a profile if the catalog is open anyway?

So you do not read what does not apply to you. Most studies restrict country, age, language or device, and without a profile you only see that by reading every card closely.

With a profile we show how well each study matches and explain in words what fits and what does not.

Why was my application rejected?

The most common reason is geography: the researcher is looking for people in a specific country. Then come screener mismatches and, plainly, a full quota.

Rejection is normal here, even for experienced participants. The guide on rejected applications covers this in detail.

Why not go to the platforms directly?

You can, and we even explain how: each platform page describes how registration and payouts work there.

The difference is time. There are dozens of platforms, most opportunities will not fit you, and you only learn that after signing up and filling in a screener on each one.

How many opportunities do you have right now?

The exact number is shown on the homepage and comes from the database rather than being typed in by hand.

We deliberately do not inflate the catalog: fewer opportunities with verified conditions beat more with invented ones.

Did not find your question?

The guides go deeper: how screeners work, why applications get rejected and how payouts arrive. If your question is about the service itself, write to us.
