What is actually available from Ukraine, how the money arrives, and where the friction usually is.
What is available
International platforms mostly do not forbid participation from Ukraine, but many studies carry geographic limits: the researcher wants people from a specific country and Ukraine is not on the list.
That is not about you personally, it is a condition of that study. So it is normal that out of ten open studies only two fit you.
How the money arrives
The most common method is PayPal. Check upfront that you can use it and withdraw funds.
Bank transfer is available less often and usually above a threshold. Gift cards are sometimes tied to shops that do not operate here — check before taking part, not after.
Which language
Most studies run in English. For surveys confident reading is enough; interviews need spoken language.
Studies in Ukrainian appear rarely and usually concern local products. Do not overstate your language level: a mismatch surfaces during the session.
What to watch out for
Check the country requirement before filling in the screener — it is the most common reason for rejection.
Time zones: interviews are often scheduled in US hours, and a slot convenient for the researcher can be the middle of the night here.
