How an AI task differs from research
In conventional paid research, the client needs your experience or view as a participant: it may ask how you use a bank or choose a product. In an AI task, the outcome is more often a completed unit of work: rating an answer, labelling text, comparing options, checking a rule or writing an example to an instruction. You may not be asked about your life, but consistent accuracy can be required.
The boundary is not always absolute. Some listings combine a profile questionnaire, test and task. Read what is paid for: an hour, an accepted task, a batch of tasks or work after quality review. If the description is unclear, do not treat it as a stable job or guaranteed payment.
Why there are only a few in the feed
As of 26 October 2026, LazyBounty has only a few listings in the ai_task format. That is a candid limit of the catalogue, not a reason to create expectations. We show them when they appear in sources alongside other formats, but do not promise daily vacancies or a particular number of hours.

Selection and the entry test
A qualification check often comes before work. It can assess language ability, attention, instruction following, subject knowledge or ability to spot errors. Passing a test does not mean you have already been hired, and it does not guarantee a volume of work afterward.
Read examples and rules before starting instead of trying to finish fastest. If you do not understand the criterion, it is better to skip a listing than submit random answers. Do not use another person’s account or automation where terms require your own work: it can end access and put payment at risk.
Piece-rate pay and other risks
Many of these jobs pay per unit, so the quoted rate is not the same as an actual hourly amount. That depends on speed after training, difficulty, rejected answers, task availability and time spent reading instructions. Work out your own pace on a few examples if a platform shows volume, and do not spend extensive unpaid time on an uncertain test.
The risks are not only financial. Tasks can be repetitive, include difficult or unpleasant content, and have changing quality rules. Do not share confidential data in responses, and check that payment timing and method are clear. A genuine platform does not need a deposit, CVV, password or SMS code to start.
Choosing between AI tasks and studies
If you prefer explaining your own experience, look for interviews, product tests or usability research. If structured work to instructions suits you, AI tasks may be relevant, but the source volume is currently small. There is no reason to call one format better: they require different kinds of time and skill.
