InboxDollars alternatives in 2026: 6 survey and reward sites with lower cash-out and more countries
InboxDollars works only for people living in the 50 US states, and you need a minimum balance before you can cash out: $30 in its payment terms, $15 for the first payout and $10 after that in its payment guide. The main alternatives fix the country limit or the threshold: Swagbucks accepts 11 countries and pays to PayPal from $5, Survey Junkie and Branded Surveys start at 500 points (about $5), and YouGov and Ipsos iSay run panels in many countries. All of them pay small amounts per survey. If you want more per hour, paid research studies are the step up: on Respondent, remote studies for ordinary participants had a median of $25 for about 25 minutes.
Why people look for an InboxDollars alternative
InboxDollars pays for surveys, offers, games and other activities in cash rather than points, which many people like. The two most common reasons to look elsewhere are written in its own help centre.
- Country: InboxDollars welcomes only people living within the United States (50 states), aged 18 or over. It says it works with US advertisers, so there is no international membership.
- Cash-out threshold: the help centre gives two figures. The payment terms say you cannot redeem until at least $30 is posted to your account; the guide to requesting payment names $15 for the first payout and $10 after. Check the current figure in your account before you plan around it.
- Waiting time: PayPal payments can take up to 10 business days from the request, and gift cards are processed on average within 10 days.
The alternatives at a glance
Every row below comes from the platform’s own website or help centre, checked on 6 October 2026. Where a platform does not publish something, we say so rather than guess.

|---|---|---|---|
| InboxDollars | US (50 states), 18+ | $30 in terms; $15, then $10 in payment guide | PayPal, gift cards |
| Swagbucks | 11 countries incl. US, UK, Canada, Germany, France, 13+ | $5 to PayPal (530 SB in the US) | PayPal, gift cards |
| Survey Junkie | US, Canada, Australia, UK, 18+ | $5 (500 points) | PayPal; bank transfer and gift cards in the US |
| Branded Surveys | US, Canada, UK | 500 points | PayPal, bank transfer, gift cards |
| YouGov | panels in the UK, US, Germany, France, Spain, Italy and more | set per country | rewards for points; varies by country |
| Ipsos iSay | local panels in many countries | set per country; $5 PayPal = 525 points in the US | PayPal, gift cards and more, by country |
Swagbucks: the lowest PayPal threshold
Swagbucks pays in points called SB; in the US 100 SB is worth $1. You earn them for surveys, shopping online, watching videos and other tasks. Residents of 11 countries aged 13 or over can redeem rewards: the US, the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and India.
Its rewards store sets the minimum PayPal withdrawal at $5, which in the US costs 530 SB: Swagbucks says the PayPal reward costs 30 cents more than its face value, to cover PayPal’s processing fees.
Best for: people who want PayPal cash quickly and do not mind a mix of surveys and other tasks.
Survey Junkie: low threshold and bank transfer
Survey Junkie is a market research community owned by the consumer insights company DISQO. To join you must be 18 or over and live in the United States, Canada, Australia or the United Kingdom.
You can cash out from $5 (500 points). PayPal is available in every Survey Junkie country, while bank transfer and gift cards are offered in the US. Before you redeem, Survey Junkie may verify your identity, and it warns that options vary by region and verification status.
Best for: people in Canada, Australia or the UK who want PayPal cash from a low threshold.
Branded Surveys: honest about the amounts
Branded Surveys is open to residents of the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, and you must be in one of those countries to redeem. The minimum is 500 points, paid through PayPal, bank transfer or gift cards.
It is one of the few sites that states its typical rate openly: most surveys pay between $1 and $3. It says payments arrive within one to three business days after you cash in.
Best for: people who want fast payouts and realistic expectations.
YouGov and Ipsos iSay: big research brands, many countries
YouGov runs its own panel in many markets. Members earn points for surveys, with more points for longer and more complex surveys, and convert them into a reward once they reach a set balance. YouGov has a “Panel Promise”: if you are invited to a survey, there will always be one for you to take.
Ipsos iSay is the panel of the research group Ipsos. You complete a profile, receive invitations, earn points for completed surveys and exchange them for rewards in your country’s catalogue; in the US a $5 PayPal reward costs 525 points. LazyBounty is an official partner in the Ipsos network, and the iSay panel for your country appears as the first card in our feed where it is available.
Best for: people outside the US, UK and Canada, where the smaller survey sites do not operate.
When paid research pays more than surveys
Survey sites pay for many short questionnaires. Paid research platforms such as Respondent, Prolific, User Interviews and UserTesting pay for fewer, longer sessions, and the amounts are of a different order.
On Respondent, in the four weeks to 4 October 2026, about 307 remote studies for ordinary participants appeared each week, with a median of $25 for about 25 minutes. Interviews paid more. Respondent itself warns that this is not a dependable daily income: you are paid only when a researcher picks you.
Many people combine the two: a survey site for small regular amounts and research platforms for occasional larger payments. LazyBounty collects open studies from several research platforms every hour into one feed.
How to choose
Pick by your country first, then by the way you want to be paid.
- In the US and want PayPal fast: Swagbucks ($5) or Survey Junkie ($5).
- In Canada or the UK: Survey Junkie or Branded Surveys.
- In Europe or elsewhere: YouGov or Ipsos iSay, where they run a panel in your country.
- Want larger amounts per session: add paid research platforms.
- Never pay to join. All the sites above are free; a site that asks for a fee to unlock surveys is a warning sign.
What InboxDollars does well, and where it falls short
InboxDollars has two genuine strengths. It keeps your balance in dollars rather than points, so you always see what an activity is worth, and it pays out through PayPal and gift cards that most Americans can use straight away.
Its weaknesses are just as clear from its own help centre: membership is limited to the 50 US states, there is a minimum balance before you can cash out, and PayPal payments can take up to 10 business days. If you live outside the US, or you want small amounts quickly, one of the alternatives below will suit you better.
A checklist before you join any reward site
Five questions take two minutes and save weeks of wasted surveys.
- Does the site’s own help centre list your country? If not, you will not be able to redeem, even if registration works.
- What is the cash-out threshold in money, not points?
- Is your preferred payout method available where you live? Survey Junkie, for example, offers bank transfer and gift cards in the US only.
- Will you need to verify your identity before the first payout?
- How long does the money take to arrive? Branded Surveys says one to three business days; InboxDollars says up to 10 business days for PayPal.
