Paid research sites outside the US and Europe: which accept India, the Philippines, Brazil, Mexico, Nigeria, Pakistan and 10 more countries

3 October 2026 · 7 min read

Outside the US and Europe, the answer depends heavily on your country. India, Brazil and Mexico are on the lists of Prolific, User Interviews and Askable and are primary markets for Respondent. The Philippines and Indonesia are covered by Askable and Respondent, and Kenya by Respondent alone. Pakistan, Egypt and Turkey are not on the lists of User Interviews or Askable, but they are on Respondent’s full country list (and Egypt is on Prolific’s). Nigeria is on none of the four lists, so there the realistic routes are uTest, UserTesting if your English is fluent and Tryber. The table below covers 16 countries, plus live uTest projects for each on 3 October 2026.

What is open in the catalogue right now

Our own data, as of 3 October 2026

Most available in: United States — 304, United Kingdom — 77, Canada — 39, Israel — 35, Germany — 30

These numbers are counted from our catalogue at the moment you opened this page. The platform running the study pays you; LazyBounty never holds the money and never screens you.

How we checked

On 3 October 2026 we opened each platform’s own help centre and copied its country list as published. We did not rely on review sites: rules change, and an answer from 2024 can send you to a platform that no longer pays in your country.

A country on a list means the platform says it recruits or pays people who live there. It does not promise many invitations. Most research on these platforms is commissioned by US and European companies, so in every country below expect fewer studies than in the US, and expect English to be required.

Where you live is what counts, not your citizenship. Prolific says so explicitly, and every platform here bans accounts that hide their real location.

The table: 16 countries, 5 platforms

"Yes" means the country is on the platform’s official list. Respondent publishes two lists: primary markets, where it focuses its recruiting, and a full list of countries researchers can recruit in; "primary" means the first, "listed" the second, "no" means neither. UserTesting publishes no list: it recruits worldwide among people fluent in English, French or German and asks you to check with it whether your country is supported (the asterisk).

India, Brazil, Mexico: the best-covered countries

These three are the only countries in the table that appear on all four official lists. Prolific includes India, Brazil and Mexico among its 52 supported countries, User Interviews lists them in its Americas and Asia-Pacific groups, Askable recruits in all three, and Respondent names them among its primary markets.

Chile and South Africa come close: Prolific and User Interviews list both, Askable lists Chile, Respondent names South Africa as a primary market and has Chile on its full list.

In practice, that means a resident of India or Brazil can build the same starter set as someone in Europe: Prolific for short surveys, User Interviews and Askable for interviews and tests, Respondent for the larger interview payments.

The Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Colombia: Askable and Respondent first

Askable recruits in the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia and Colombia, and Respondent names the Philippines, Indonesia and Colombia as primary markets. Prolific lists Indonesia but not the Philippines, Malaysia or Colombia. User Interviews lists Malaysia only.

Askable works in English, but researchers may write screeners and study descriptions in your local language, and Askable pays incentives in local currency where it can, or a secondary currency where local payout is not supported.

Respondent’s sign-up page is in English only, and it says responses from any country skew towards English speakers. If your English is strong, that is an advantage, not an obstacle.

Nigeria, Pakistan, Egypt, Kenya, Turkey: where the lists run out

This is the honest answer to a question we see often, for example "does Askable work in Nigeria?": by the official lists checked on 3 October 2026, no. Nigeria is not on the lists of Prolific, User Interviews or Askable, and it is also missing from Respondent’s full list of countries. Pakistan and Turkey are not on the Prolific, User Interviews or Askable lists, but they are on Respondent’s full list. Egypt is on Prolific’s and Respondent’s lists. Kenya is a Respondent primary market but is not on the other three lists.

Outside its primary markets, Respondent says a researcher either opens a study to the whole world or adds a screener question for the country they need, so expect fewer studies than in the US. UserTesting recruits worldwide among fluent speakers of English, French or German; check with it that your country is supported. uTest accepts testers worldwide: in our catalogue on 3 October 2026, 11 projects were open to residents of Pakistan, Egypt and Kenya each, 9 of them open worldwide, and 9 to residents of Nigeria.

If a site promises paid studies in these countries in exchange for a registration fee, treat it as a scam. None of the platforms in this article charges participants to join.

uTest: live projects by country, 3 October 2026

uTest pays testers for approved bugs, test cases and surveys, and accepts people worldwide. The number of paid projects open to your country is a better guide than any list. We count them every hour; the table shows 3 October 2026, 09:30 UTC: projects for that specific country plus 9 open worldwide, out of 139 live uTest projects.

Tryber, Clickworker, Userlytics: open widely, with conditions

Tryber, the testing community of the company UNGUESS, says it has more than 270,000 active members in over 150 countries. You complete a basic course before you receive campaigns.

Clickworker says people can work from many countries but temporarily turns off registration where it already has enough workers or where clients offer little work. Its payment page lists PayPal, Payoneer, SEPA for EU countries, ACH for the US and direct bank transfers for a few non-EU countries, and says not every method is available to every Clickworker, so check your payment details before you start.

Userlytics says that if PayPal works in your country, you can take part, because PayPal is its only payout method.

Getting paid: check this before you register

For people outside the US and Europe, the payout method decides more than the country list. A platform can accept your country and still pay only through a service that does not work for you.

A starter set by country

Register on two or three platforms that fit your country, and fill in each profile carefully: researchers select by profile, and a sloppy one is the main reason for silence.

Questions and answers

Does Askable work in Nigeria?

Not according to Askable’s official list of 42 countries, checked on 3 October 2026. In Africa, the list does not include Nigeria, Kenya, Egypt or South Africa.

Which paid research sites accept people from India?

Prolific, User Interviews and Askable list India, and Respondent names it as a primary market. UserTesting recruits fluent English speakers worldwide, and uTest had 14 projects open to India on 3 October 2026.

Can I do paid research studies from Pakistan?

Yes, on some platforms. Pakistan is not on the lists of Prolific, User Interviews or Askable, but it is on Respondent’s full country list. You can also test on uTest, which had 11 projects open to Pakistan on 3 October 2026, and on UserTesting if your English is fluent.

Does Prolific accept people from the Philippines?

No. The Philippines is not on Prolific’s official list of 52 countries checked on 3 October 2026. Askable and Respondent do recruit there.

Do I need to pay to join a paid research platform?

No. None of the platforms in this article charges participants to join. A site that asks for a fee before giving you studies or releasing a payout is a scam.

Which payout methods work outside the US and Europe?

It depends on the platform and country. uTest pays to PayPal, Payoneer or a local-currency bank transfer via Wise; Clickworker adds Payoneer and, in a few non-EU countries, a direct bank transfer; Askable pays in local currency where it can; Respondent sends Tremendous rewards.
